Programs at Kings Kids

My son started going to Kings Kids in early 2005. There were only 8 children at the time. I can't express how remarkable it was to see the beginnings of what is now an amazing preschool and kindergarten. The hardest thing to do is to express in words the gift their staff has given to my son. The love and direction put into the school from Carlisa Choate as she made Kings Kids a reality is very special indeed. Now that my son is in 1st grade, the one thing that stands out the most when I think back about Kings Kids is how they would look for that special gift in each child and hold on to it, nurture it, and give them the love and confidence to move forward. All kids are different, some more so than others. Kings Kids never tried to put my child in a box to make him fit their daily routine. But at the same time, they taught him about respect, values, responsibility, friendship, and prepared him for 1st grade. It's the end of my son's first year at PES and I can't believe how well he is doing. Carlisa saw how special he was and I am very grateful for that. People ask me all the time about Kings Kids and I tell them it's the best preschool I know, hands down, including my experience with my daughter's preschools in Los Angeles. The facility is impeccable with it's indoor gymnasium, full size basketball court, and large performance stage. If you get a chance, check out the bathroom adjacent to the back parking lot, its so beautiful I could live in it. The staff works so hard and is always bringing something special to the kids. Mrs. Currier with her warm hugs and smiles for all the children, to Mrs. Glenn who offers up her cooking day each week (yummy!). Thank you to everyone at Kings Kids. King's Kids has been a wonderful place for my son. He joined as a Panda Bear in the kindergarten group. He was the only "new kid" who was not returning to King's Kids. He was welcomed with open arms and immediately began to grow. He has improved his writing skills, has developed a wonderful vocabulary of sight words and has enjoyed the many projects along the way. He has made some wonderful friends and has learned so much. I would strongly recommend King's Kids to my friends and family and I am looking forward to when my youngest is old enough to attend. I want to express a heartfelt thank you to the extraordinary staff at King’s Kids for the never ending devotion, encouragement and support given to all the children who walk through their doors. I am especially grateful for the care and concern shown to my son who struggles with fine motor delays. Your willingness to adapt the curriculum to include activities that would improve his skills is greatly appreciated. It’s just one of many ways King’s Kids stands out in the crowd.

From the first days in the Sheep Room to the final days as a Panda Bear, I have watched my son bloom both socially and intellectually. Kings Kids has done a fantastic job getting my children ready to move on to first grade. The curriculum is top-notch, the facility is spotless and the staff is so kind. My daughter has loved learning sign language and being in the spanish program! My son enjoyed the large gym.
